About Me
Sometimes, the most dramatic changes in your life can happen when you least expect it. That's what happened to me. I could hide behind the sky-high stacks of DVDs on my desk, and you wouldn't be able to find me. But loving movies, and thinking I would have anything to do with them were two different things.
During my days in the advertising company, I was on an election campaign project for the mayor of Taipei, the theme was to “connect” the people. I stepped upon Hideo Kojima’s masterpiece “Death Stranding” when I was doing research for ideas. I was astonished by how Kojima took inspiration from film storytelling techniques, integrated them into the crafting of interactive media, and built the story and game mechanics around his concept. And also got to watch his recommendation like “Parasite”, “Cold War”, and “An Elephant Sitting Still”. As someone who loves video games, his work gave me a template for how I could craft my films.
Choosing the path of a filmmaker is like an upgrade from my experience, I started by making my client’s dream come true, and now it’s me crafting my own stories and dreams and spreading the joy to people.
